Christmas in June!!

Rodney and I have just received our Christmas present from Evan in the mail today! He gave us Amazon gift cards and we finally cashed them out for Everwood Season 3!



Everwood was a show on TV back when I was in high school. It was canceled because there was only room for one show the following year they had to choose between 7th Heaven's 20th season and Everwood. Lets just say they chose the wrong show.



They are now very slowly releasing them on DVD! And we will now probably sit for the next however many days just watching it, bad thing about TV on DVD, you don't have to wait until next week for the next episode! =)

Where have you been?!

ME? well i have been all over the place!

To start we canceled out cable/internet because we just can not afford the high price, Now i must borrow internet from either starbucks or the bench outside. Now if i use the bench outside, it can not be raining, and it has been rainy therefore no internet!

My parents bought us a digital converter so i can watch apollo ohno speed skate! That was very generous of them and i love them VERY much for everything they do!

ok So... nothing new here, we did our taxes and with our return we will finally go wedding gift shopping!! we have done a tiny bit at target and already our apt feels more like home!

I am working my butt off at the airport and starbucks which is nothing new

Rod is sticking with his new job but may be looking around for more options sooner rather than later!

Today i went with a friend to look at some cosmo schools in the area and i am super excited and want to get back into school, my next step is to fill out the FASFA to see if the state will allow me to go to school and further my knowledge so i can do what i want to do in life instead of what i have to do!

We are enjoying Our married life very much! We just hit our 3 month mark! WOW it goes by so fast!! My parents came up for Valentines day and took us out for dinner! Rodney has been the greatest person ever, being supportive of me wanting to go back to school, him working his butt off to provide for me! he is so cute when he is so passionate on making our life less stressful! He is the best husband, i couldnt of asked for a better man!

I believe that this all for now! i am outside on the bench and my fingers are starting to freeze a bit!

Wow time flies!

We have been officially married for one month! WOW when you are not waiting on a wedding time flies so fast! =) This past month we...

-- Got back into the work routine (gag)

-- Officially bought thank you notes but have yet to fill them out haha!

-- I made a romantic dinner picnic for my husband @ the place he proposed last year!

-- Rearranged the living room, i get so bored staring at the same wall

-- made pancakes on our new griddle and rice in our new rice cooker

-- Rodney went to New Mexico for Fresno States Bowl Game, i missed him a lot!

-- Rodney made his best batch of fried chicken! really! he put some cinnamon in it! DELICIOUS! glad I married someone who can cook!

-- almost killed our cat, ever since taking her to my parents she has learned that she can jump on EVERYTHING!!!!! so she gets locked in a bedroom a lot now! GAH!

-- talked to our wedding photographer, he is done editing our photos, now he will send them to us in the mail and we pick 100-120 to put in an album then he puts it together! i am soooo stoked to see our professional photos!!!

Now to get in the Christmas spirit, we are going to Christmas Tree lane tomorrow night, it is a street in the "rich" neighborhood where the Christmas lights are amazing i hear... i am really excited!!

Ice Cold!

As a lot of you know I work at the airport, and a lot of you know I live in Fresno. What a lot of you do not know is that it was about 29 degrees last night in Fresno AS I was working at the Airport Brrrrr!

It had rained a lot yesterday and so everything was still wet in the evening, because it got so cold everything that was wet turned to ice!

This is one of the planes i work with!



This we use to get the luggage on and off the plane it is called a belt loader (makes sense) Well all that white sparkly stuff... that is ice!



This is the top of my car last night (again the white sparkly stuff.. ice!)



I had gotten in my car last night and sat there for about 5 min with the defrosters on... and... nothing, so i started the windshield wipers with the fluid and it took another 5 min for the wipers to scrape away all the ice on my windshield! and it is more ice than i have ever seen! Long story short, it is colder here this year than last, and I am out working in it! Brrrr.... good thing i bundle up!



This is me wearing a turtle neck, 2 thermal shirts, knee high socks, thermal pants, pants, sweatshirt, scarf, jacket,and hat, when i started work i also wore gloves!! and... i was still cold! it was interesting seeing all the ice though, we never got this much in Long Beach! CRAZY!

PANCAKES!

I Love Pancakes and I have to say I make way better pancakes than Rodney!
Because I love pancakes soo much we decided to register for an electric griddle. That way can make little ones like my dad(because those taste better!)

So this morning I woke up to the sound of someone knocking on the bedroom door, it was the cat playing with one of her paper balls against the door =/

Needless to say I was then Wide awake =/ so i decided to sneak out of bed and start making pancakes for my Husband! <--(still weird to say haha)



And i set up the table with our new Red Place mats, New Forks, My Bouquet, and OJ it was really pretty!



Then I did something no woman should ever do unless food is on the table... i woke the man up! haha

That is all for now, i have to figure out how to get these acrylic nails off, they are driving me crazy! GAAHH!!

Our Wedding!

Though our life together started almost 3 years ago, Rodney and I just started Our Married Life together November 21, 2009!

Our Wedding was Perfect and so far Married life is great!!
